Crossed by the torrent which gives it the name, the Val Cerfone is a natural oasis of exceptional beauty, with its ancient villages, the Benedictine abbeys, and its quaint farmhouses spread in the chestnut woods and oak-groves. There you can pick up dainty varieties of mushrooms, whose prince is the Boletus Edulis, better known as Porcino, which the local folks cook to prepare dishes that delighted the most delicate palates in the course of centuries. The Farm Il Mulino, easy to reach from the town of Arezzo (about ten minutes by car), extends for 50 hectares in the Val Cerfone. There we created Agridomus, aiming at the motto our home is your home, which summarizes the ancient sense of country hospitality. The search in the tradition and passion for cookery, together with the use of natural biological produce, allowed many old recipes to see the light again, so that they can be tasted in the charming atmosphere of the surroundings, where the deep green is only broken... upwards, by the blue sky.
II Mulino has 10 hectares of woods and tracks of its own, adjacent to the built-up areas, for the exclusive use of its guests, who can make bracing excursions, have nice walks or go for mountain-bike rides. The area is fully fenced in. The flats have been carefully restructured and tastefully furnished, and even though endowed with every modern comfort, they perfectly harmonize with the natural setting which surrounds them. |
